Located on Interstate 77 on the state lines of both North Carolina, and South Carolina Carowinds is a theme park that stretches out to an amazing 400 acres. The amusement park opened its gates first on March 31, 1973, at a $70 million dollar cost. It all started when a man named Earl Patterson Hall took a trip to Disneyland in 1956 and a great deal landed right in his lap; after years of planning, everything was done and ready to go. Hall also had a vision to bring the two states of Carolina closer in friendship, by putting the park right on the border.

Carowinds opens ever March each year and closes in November right after the park hosts its Halloween event called the "Scarowinds". As that date gets closer check out our site for discount passes for screams, chills, goose bumps, and spooks that'll scare your socks off. Cheaper prices for buying passes for all open seasons.

I live in Columbia, and even though it’s a little bit of a drive it is well worth it. I've been with friends and family multiple times in my life and it is always fun and exciting. Every time you go it’s a different experience, but the best deal is on the food, they have so many booths that you eat something different every time, or go back for the same food you love. Thanks again for the discount ticket, you made something that’s great and made it better!
